In other posts, you’ll find me going on about the outstanding produce in Albania. And the dairy products are outrageous, with major quantities of white cheese. AND THE EGGS! You have never seen yellower yolks, thanks to the carotenes coming from the chicken feed.
BUT FORGET ABOUT PRODUCE! Forget about eggs. Forget about fresh chicken. Today I want to alert you to some of the tastiest fast food and restaurant food in Albania.

Above is the Albanian version of a fast food snack — local sausage, local salami, breaded chicken cubes and crinkle-cut fries.

Above, there’s a meal of Peking Duck at The Chinese Garden.

Above are Mexican lunch dishes from Tony’s American Restaurant. You see tacos and a kind of beef burrito. The beef burritos are big and don’t contain much in the way of beans. They are more like chimichangas. But no problem.

Above is a full English breakfast comes from Meduza Irish Pub. I also got a plate of petulla (fried dough with cherry jam).

The krepa (crepes) are authentic. Above are a fshata krepa (a “village” crepe) and a chocolatge banana crepe.
