Seven years of marriage! Can you believe it? We scarcely believe it ourselves!

Here’s our early morning gift exchange. That’s a mylar balloon that’s supposed to be a “7,” candles, and a local stuffed pepper.
The pepper has a string for Jennifer to pull. The string is attached to a roll of 1,000 Leke bills. (The total is about $100.00 USD.)
When did this start?
This marriage started on July 10, 2019. The ceremony was held in the gazebo outside the Eric Rood Administrative Center in Nevada City, California
The ceremony was officiated by a super Justice of the Peace, who was also (of course) a minister of the Universal Life Church. It was really well done.

The wedding party. Kathleen Williams is my “Best Man;” Kamala Murphey is Jennifer’s Maid of Honor; and Jennifer is the Blushing Bride. The groom is taking the picture.

The Groom. Barry — suwave and deboner.
What happens next?
On Sunday, July 12, we will go out with our young friends Eduardo and Zylma. They are fine, fun people.
We’ll eat dinner at Yamato Sushi on Pope John Paul VI Boulevard.

And so…
We made it this far. Wish us luck and we’ll try for an 8th wedding anniversary.
Barry
Has it really been 7 years? Good grief! And I still own that shirt. Fond memories of the Wayne Brown Correctional Facility in the background while you were taking your vows.
Glad you are both doing well and happy!
Yes, yes, yes! And I remember the dinner at “Tuscany Gardens.” It’s still there. Nice Mediterranean pasta!
And you are SO RIGHT about our view of the jail. Do you remember Keith Royal’s scandalous white MRAP, designed to keep the citizens of Nevada County safe from domestic terrorists?
YES! We are doing well. We’re happy.
And dat’s de nooz,
Barry
